Zero no Tsukaima

Alohaaa minna sama~
After such a long time not blogging again, at last Shidiq back again to share some information about anime. Today Shidiq would like to share about Zero no Tsukaima. Well then check this out~
from: wikipedia

ZnT novel01.png
The Familiar of Zero (ゼロの使い魔 Zero no Tsukaima) is a fantasy and comedy-oriented series of Japanese light novels written by Noboru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. The story features several characters from the second year class of a magic academy in a fictional magical world with the main characters being the inept mage Louise and her familiar from Earth, Saito Hiraga. The series has been adapted three times as an anime series. The first season aired in Japan between July and September 2006 produced by the animation studio J.C.Staff and directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki. The second season, entitled Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi, was directed by Yū Kō and aired in Japan between July and September 2007. A third anime adaptation, titled Zero no Tsukaima: Princesse no Rondo, is produced by J.C.Staff, with Yū Kō as the director, and aired on Japanese television between July and September 2008. A manga version drawn by Nana Mochizuki began serialization in Media Factory's manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive in July 2006.

On April 21, 2007, Geneon announced that they have picked up the English dubbing rights of the first season of the anime series and will be under the title The Familiar of Zero. The announcement was made at the 2007 Anime Boston convention. On July 3, 2008, Geneon Entertainment and Funimation Entertainment announced an agreement to distribute select titles in North America. While Geneon Entertainment still retains the license, Funimation Entertainment assumes exclusive rights to the manufacturing, marketing, sales and distribution of select titles. The Familiar of Zero was one of several titles involved in the deal.

Story

The Familiar of Zero follows the adventures of the protagonists Louise and her familiar Saito. Louise is a second year student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. In this world, those who can use magic are either mages or nobles, and those who cannot use magic are known as "commoners" or "plebeians".

Louise is terrible at magic, and can never use it the way she wants to, as her attempts of using magic ends up as a general explosion. She is given the nickname "Louise the Zero" by her classmates, due to the inability to use any of the four common magic elements, whereby a mage's power is determined by the number of elements they can use ranging from a single element, one (dot mage), two (line) three (triangle) and four (square). Early in the school year, the second year students summon their familiars; this is considered a special ritual where a mage summons their eternal protector and partner, which usually is some sort of magical creature. Louise manages to summon a human commoner named Saito Hiraga, leaving her totally humiliated. Due to the sacredness of the ritual, Louise is left with no choice but to reluctantly accept Saito as her familiar. She proceeds to treat Saito as any other familiar only worse, making him sleep on a bed of hay and beats him with a whip for little to no reason, among other things.

One day Saito challenges a noble who disrespects commoners (Guiche) to a duel. Saito is beaten badly at first, but once a sword was put in his hands, Saito gained a mysterious power. The strange letters on his left hand began to glow and his agility and strength enheightened. With his new power, Saito is able to defeat the noble in the duel and even receive an apology he was supposed to give. Louise and Saito's relationship's develop during the course of the story to the point where they risk their lives to save the other. Though, Saito is usually the one to do so since Louise is almost always the one in danger. At one point in the story, Saito confesses his love to Louise, but she doesn't believe him until much later. Together they face many mysteries and uncover unexpected truths, including the nature of Saito's mysterious power, and the truth behind Louise's inability to cast magic

Main characters

Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière (ルイズ・フランソワーズ・ル・ブラン・ド・ラ・ヴァリエール Ruizu Furansowāzu ru Buran do ra Variēru) Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya (Japanese), Cristina Valenzuela (English)

Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière, third daughter of the noble family La Vallière who owns the north-eastern territory of Tristain, is the main female character. She is a second year student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. Louise is a terrible mage who is often scorned by her fellow classmates because every spell she casts fails, so she is nicknamed "Louise the Zero" after her zero success rate and zero attributes. This has led her to be very bitter and occasionally cruel.
At first, she treats Saito like a dog, even tying him up on a chain and making him lie on a straw bed, beating him, and generally treating him as sub-human. Louise at first hates Saito, but over time, grows fond of him and eventually falls in love with him. However, she continues to violently mistreat him and abuse his natural patience and friendliness. When she thinks he has perverted thoughts about other girls, or is jealous of or mad at him, she beats him with a whip or blows him up with her magic and keeps arguing about those kind of behaviors and Saito's deeds.
Eventually Louise discovers that her failure in performing magic of any of the four basic attributes is because, in fact, her magical affinity is with the rare and powerful Void element.

Saito Chevalier de Hiraga (平賀才人 Hiraga Saito)

Voiced by: Satoshi Hino (Japanese), Jonathan Meza (English)
Saito Hiraga, the main male character and primary protagonist of the story, is from modern-day Earth (specifically Tokyo, Japan). While walking down the street a portal opened in front of him, and when he touched it he was sucked through, landing in the Tristain Academy of Magic. At first, Saito had no idea where he was, and was thoroughly disoriented, mainly due to unfamiliar territory and the fact that, at first, he cannot understand the language the others are speaking. His attitude is generally carefree yet he blows up easily when anyone he cares for is in danger, particularly Louise. Though he at first wishes to return home, he adapts to his strange new situation relatively quickly.
There are runes inscribed into Saito's hand as a result of his being bound to Louise. They read geboundolf or Gandalfr (ガンダールヴ Gandāruvu, actually "Gundolf"). These runes glow when his Gandalfr powers activate. As a Gandalfr, a familiar who exists to protect a Void Wizard, Saito has the ability to use any object that was made with the intent of being used as a weapon at an extremely high level of skill. He also becomes significantly stronger, faster and tougher. This physical augmentation fades more or less instantly when he stops using the power, which can result in him falling unconscious if he had been previously wounded. He is said to be the left hand of god.
His partner, the talking sword Derflinger, was also the partner of the Gandalfr six thousand years previously. Saito protects Louise with a passion, a result of both his duty as a Gandalfr and his feelings for her. He eventually falls in love with Louise, despite the abusive way she treats him.

Tabitha/Charlotte Helene Orléans de Gallia (タバサ/シャルロット・エレーヌ・オルレアン Tabasa/Sharurotto Erēnu Orurean)

Voiced by: Yuka Inokuchi (Japanese), Jennifer Alyx (English)
Tabitha is a quiet girl who is a classmate and the best friend of Kirche, as well as being Louise's classmate. Throughout the series she is almost always reading a book. Later it was revealed that the name Tabitha is an alias; she is in fact Charlotte, daughter of the King's murdered brother, and the rightful heir to the throne of Gallia. Her specialty is wind magic. She is also a chevalier knight, which is the lowest rank of knight. Her familiar is a nature dragon named Sylphid. She also develops feelings for Saito after they rescue her from Bidashal.

Kirche Augusta Frederica von Anhalt Zerbst (キュルケ・アウグスタ・フレデリカ・フォン・アンハルツ・ツェルプストー Kyuruke Augusuta Furederika fon Anharutsu Tserupusutō) Voiced by: Nanako Inoue (Japanese), Lauren Landa (English)
Louise's well-endowed classmate. Fire magic is her specialty—drawn from her strong passion for love. The territory she is from has long since had a dislike for the La Vallière family. She flirts and has dated many of the academy boys. Kirche's schemes and aggressive invitations for Saito, her latest victim, to sleep with her, even though he is obviously against it, leads to him getting hit by Louise due to her overwhelming jealousy. She later moves this crush onto Professor Colbert, whom she had financially helped in building Ostland. Her familiar is a salamander called Flame. She was expelled from her last school and was almost forced into a marriage to an older man by her parents. Kirche frequently appears with her closest friend, Tabitha, to help Saito and Louise out of the daily trouble they get into.

Guiche de Gramont (ギーシュ・ド・グラモン Gīshu do Guramon) Voiced by: Takahiro Sakurai (Japanese), Nicholas Manelick (English)

Guiche is one of Louise's classmates. Despite being in love with Montmorency, he is a conceited playboy. He comes from a royal family. He always carries an artificial rose with him, the stem of which is his wand. He also likes to dote upon his familiar, a giant mole named Belldandy. His specialty is earth magic.

Siesta (シエスタ Shiesuta) Voiced by: Yui Horie (Japanese), Xanthe Huynh (English)

A maid at the academy. She has a crush on Saito, and treats him very kindly. Although bearing witness to a possible relationship between Saito and Louise and its accompanying sharp up and downs, Siesta believes she can provide Saito a more gentle and caring relationship and love. Although timid, her love for Saito draws her to take increasingly confident actions to win Saito's love, including reticent lying following an unveiled a rather pathetic seduction attempt, and donning various costumes to attempt to win Saito's affection. Siesta is actually descended from a World War II Japanese pilot who was stranded in Tristain after flying into a solar eclipse along with another airplane which managed to return to Earth.

Henrietta de Tristain (アンリエッタ・ド・トリステイン Anrietta do Torisutein) Voiced by: Ayako Kawasumi

The Princess of Tristain. She is loved by her nationals and is also an old friend of Louise. She is very envious of Louise, even though Louise looks at her with respect. Later, she becomes the queen of Tristain and leads the defense against the Albion invasion after the assassination of the Albion prince Wales, with whom she was in love. She also seems to have developed some sort of feelings and a special trust for Saito.

Montmorency Margarita la Fère de Montmorency (モンモランシー・マルガリタ・ラ・フェール・ド・モンモランシ Monmoranshī Marugarita ra Fēru do Monmoranshi) Voiced by: Mikako Takahashi

Montmorency is one of Louise's classmates. Like most Tristain nobles, she has a great deal of pride. She has an affinity for the water element, and her familiar is a frog. It is shown that she cares deeply for Guiche, her boyfriend, though acts indifferently when she is expected to act romantically. She has skill with creating various potions, including a prohibited love potion.

Setting

Halkeginia

Halkeginia (ハルケギニア Harukeginia) is the continent that the story of The Familiar of Zero takes place on. Halkeginia's social structure is similar to the feudal class systems of Europe in the Middle Ages, with magic-users being considered nobles. The continent itself is vaguely reminiscent in shape of western Europe, with many of the countries carrying ancient and Roman names.
Tristain

Tristain (トリステイン Torisutein) is the nation in which the majority of the story takes place. It is a small monarchal country located in the northwest of Halkeginia. It is under threat from Albion. Tristain is home to a highly acclaimed magical academy which attracts students from nearby countries known as the Tristain Academy of Magic.
Militarily, the country is weak, with only a small permanent force, which forces it to make marriage alliances with other countries. The capital city is Tristania (トリスタニア Torisutania).
Germania

Germania (ゲルマニア Gerumania) is the largest kingdom in Halkeginia, and is also regarded as the strongest in terms of military might. It is regarded as a more barbaric and down-to-earth type of country, with its men considered to be brutish. Gemania is located to the northeast of Tristain. Germania is the ancient Roman for the region that is now Germany, the natives were at the time considered by the Romans to be barbarians.
Gallia

Gallia (ガリア Garia) is another kingdom in Halkeginia, located to the southeast of Tristania. Germania is on its eastern border, in the Alden Forest. It is the second largest country in Halkeginia. Within the Gallia Royal Family, murders and assassination attempts have led to an unstable royalty. There is a city named La Rochelle in the mountains, which is a major port. Gallia is reminiscent of modern day France, which in the Roman era was called Gaul.
Albion

Albion (アルビオン Arubion), nicknamed the white country, is a floating island nation which is in a period of political strife. According to the storyline, a group of nobles known as Reconquista initiated a coup d'etat against the royalty, and over the course of the story, succeed in killing the entire Albion Royal Family. Cromwell, the leader of the Albion rebellion, seeks to spread his power elsewhere, and begins by attacking Tristain. Albion is the ancient Greek name for the main island of Great Britain upon which are the modern nations England, Wales, and Scotland.
Cromwell is named after the leader of the Roundheads during the English Civil War, Oliver Cromwell, who successfully ousted the Monarchy, and establishing a brief reign as Lord Protector until the return of Charles II.
Romalia

Romalia (ロマリア Romaria) is a holy empire, located to the south of Gallia. Reminiscent of Italy, and specifically the Holy Roman Empire, which once formed northern Italy and much of central Europe.

Magic

The nobles of Halkeginia are magi, otherwise known as wizards or magicians, and must use a wand or a staff to cast spells. Not all magi are nobles as some have given up their nobility to use their magic for thievery or to work as mercenaries.
There are four primary magic elements: fire, water, wind, and earth. Magi have an affinity to one of those elements. There is a fifth element, the legendary lost branch of element, known as void. Magi can combine different magical elements or even stack the same element on top of itself to make spells more powerful. The power of a mage is determined by how many elements he or she can combine. There are four ranks of magician based upon this factor. Those who cannot combine any element together have the first rank, which is symbolized as a dot. Most magic students are in this class. The ability to combine two, three or four elements together leads to a magic user being referred to as a line, triangle, or square mage. In myths, there is a fifth rank called pentagram mage.
One of the major themes is that humans and technology from Earth displaced into the world of Halkeginia are considered to be highly magical since Halkeginia itself has relatively primitive science and technology. For example, a magical item called the "Staff of Destruction" is, in reality, a human-made Vietnam-era M72 LAW rocket launcher. Other examples of Earth technology, often weaponry, appear throughout the story.

Well then, hope those information will give minna sama knowledge, thank's for being read and matta ashita~

In the process, he befriends the title character: a fighter for the balancing force, whom he takes to calling "Shana". The series incorporates science fiction, fantasy, and slice-of-life "school days" elements into its tale.

Plot

Yuji Sakai, a high school student, expected his very normal life to last forever. However, this expectation is quickly shattered one day while on his way home. The world suddenly freezes in time, leaving Yuji to watch in horror as blue flames engulf the people around him. Soon a monster resembling a large doll appears and begins sucking the flames into its mouth, until it notices Yuji. Surprised with Yuji's insusceptibility to the time-stop (fuzetsu), it jumps with glee. Just as the monster prepares to consume Yuji, a sword-wielding girl in black attire with flaming red eyes and hair appears, swiftly and confidently destroys the monster, before noticing Yuji moving freely. The girl calls herself a "Flame Haze" who hunts the "Denizens of the Crimson Realm" and the "Rinne" they send to do their bidding. When Yuji notices a blue flame in his chest, the Flame Haze tells him that the "real" Yuji died some time ago, and that he is a "Torch", a temporary replacement for erased humans. Torches take on the forms of those erased persons, but after a period of time, they will vanish from existence and the memories of the living. Unfazed by his apparent death, Yuji befriends the strange girl and names her "Shana" after her sword. The reason Yuji was able to move in the fuzetsu is that he is not a normal Torch, but instead a special kind called a "Mystes": he has a treasure inside him, known as a "Hougu", a device possessing special abilities of sorts, and an extremely powerful and valuable one at that. The hougu inside Yuji allows him to remain in existence rather than fading away like other torches. Shana resolves to protect Yuji from the Denizens, who would use the treasure to disrupt the balance of the world, and Yuji decides to join Shana in her fight.

Shana's fight is actually a long-standing struggle between the Lords and Denizens of Guze. The Denizens steal Power of Existence, the energy that forms the basis of the world, from living people and utilize it for their own selfish ambitions. Some Lords inhabit humans creating Flame Hazes in an attempt to retain balance by hunting renegades from Guze. Flame Hazes create Torches in place of the consumed to save the world from the disruption of many existences being lost at once, allowing the Torches to gradually burn out over the course of time.

Main characters

Yuji Sakai (坂井 悠二 Sakai Yuji) / "Silver the second" ((Mystes))

Voiced by: Satoshi Hino (Japanese), Kristian Ayre (English)
Yuji, the main male lead of the series, is just an average high school student. However, his world is turned upside down when he discovers that he is already dead and does not have much time before he disappears. Fortunately, Yuji is a Mystes who contains a treasure known as the Reiji Maigo (零時迷子?, "Midnight Lost Child"). Unlike normal torches, the treasure inside him restores his Power of Existence every night at midnight. With the Reiji Maigo, Yuji has the possibility to live on like an average human as long as he makes sure that his Power of Existence does not run out before midnight. Later, he begins to learn to use the yet untapped potential of the treasure kept within him. Once he began using this power, the antagonists recognize him as "Silver the Second". He cares deeply about Shana, but does not make any advances in their relationship due to his feelings of depreciation as a Torch and viewing Shana as someone who is beyond his reach. He also starts to see Shana from her old former perspective of the world, where he is just a Torch and she is just a Flame Haze. With this going on, he distanced himself from the closeness that the two originally shared, leaving Shana hurt with the new feelings of love she has developed but cannot explain. However, Yuji and Shana have since repaired the damage to their relationship. As of volume 16 of the novel series, he has verbally acknowledged that he is in love with her.
Shana (シャナ) / "Flame-haired Blazing-eyed Hunter" (「炎髪灼眼の討ち手」 "Enpatsu Shakugan no Uchite") (Flame Haze)

Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya (Japanese), Tabitha St. Germain (English)
The main female lead of the series and a Flame Haze. Initially she is concentrated solely on her duty as a Flame Haze, going as far as to not bearing even a name. She sees Yuji only as a Torch, an object, and is marginally interested only because of his status as a Mystes. However, she slowly opens up to Yuji, coming to think of him as a person, despite being a Torch, and eventually comes to love him. Until she met Yuji, she was identified by only her Flame Haze title "Flame-Haired Blazing-Eyed Hunter," or her nodachi, Nietono no Shana (贄殿遮那, "Vairocana of the Offering Room"). Yuji, in his need to humanize her, chose to name her "Shana" after her sword. Shana has a habit of saying "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" which means "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" whenever Yuji asks her questions or makes remarks that disturb her original point of view. But in reality they really care for each other. She has a great fondness for melon bread. Shana later comes to the startling conclusion that she loves Yuji, and even confesses it to him in the last episode of the first anime series when she thought she was going to die, but he does not hear what she said. Shana is continually torn between her mission to protect the balance, and her love for Yuji. Due to a decision she made near the end of the first season of the anime version, the closeness they once had begun to erode as Yuji kept a distance from her because of it. Yuji adopts a viewpoint similar to Shana's in the beginning of the series. However, Yuji comes to realize that he was wrong, and their relationship seems to be restored.
Alastor (アラストール Arasutōru) / "Flame of Heavens" (「天壌の劫火」 "Tenjō no Gōka") (Lord of the Crimson Realm)

Voiced by: Masashi Ebara (Japanese), Paul Dobson (English)
He is the Lord of the Crimson Realm to whom Shana is bound. He expresses his will through a divine vessel called the Cocytus, which (in Shana's case) takes the form of a pendant. His name is actually the name of a demon in mythology. Alastor is considered to be one of the strongest of all Lords or Denizens; in fact being one of the true Gods of the Crimson Realm. But even so, he tries to keep the Denizens from consuming Power of Existence.

Terminology

Power of Existence (存在の力 Sonzai no Chikara)

As its name suggests, Power of Existence is a fundamental power that is contained within any biological or magical entity and functions as "fuel" for one's very existence. Thus, it is not limited to reside in living humans. Crimson Denizens can drain it from humans and Torches, while Flame Hazes are able to use the remaining Power of Existence from Torches. When all of the Power of Existence from a human or Torch is lost, the very existence of the human or Torch is annihilated. Because of this, all humans who had memories associated with that human or Torch will have those memories erased; however those who know of the hidden workings of the real world retain all of their memories, such as Crimson Denizens, Flame Hazes, and humans and Torches who have been exposed to the hidden balancing rules of the real world and the Crimson Realm.
Torch (トーチ Tōchi)

A Torch is a replacement entity for a human, whose Power of Existence has been significantly depleted (meaning he or she is on the verge of death in the human world). Torches are "shock-absorbers" for the sake of the balance between the real world and the Crimson Realm. They are only temporary, and will disappear after a certain amount of time, eradicating all traces of existence, including memories related to them.
Mystes (ミステス Misutesu)

A Mystes is a special kind of Torch, who contains a Treasure Tool. The main character Yuji is an example, albeit a special one who can sustain his existence indefinitely due to the ability of his Treasure Tool, Reiji Maigo. But in general, a Mystes will eventually be extinguished like a normal Torch, unless the Mystes drains Power of Existence from Denizens or Flame Hazes, like Tenmoku Ikko did to replenish his Power of Existence, though it is very unlikely for anyone else to have this ability.
Flame Haze (フレイムヘイズ Fureimu Heizu)

A Flame Haze is a servant whose duty is to maintain the two world's balance. Each Flame Haze has contracted a Lord of Crimson Realm, with exceptions like the Flame Haze "Archer of Aurora" (極光の射手 Kyokkō no Ite) whom has contracts to twin lords. Flame Hazes mostly fight against Crimson Denizens who consume great amounts of Power of Existence and endangers both worlds, although some work to restore the balance of the worlds that has been disturbed.
The Lords use Flame Haze as their medium because if they are to exist like other Denizens, they will also require Power of Existence. However, the Lords can manifest in the human world, although this means they will consume a vast amount of Power of Existence (aka Tenpa Jōsai). This sudden surge of Power of Existence will usually exceed the limit their Flame Haze may contain, and will result in the death of the Flame Haze. When someone becomes a Flame Haze, they will have their existence burned, making them as if they never existed before. Flame Hazes become a new existence and live solely to protect the balance of the worlds.
Crimson Denizens (紅世の徒 Guze no Tomogara)

Crimson Denizens are mostly evil entities who usually do not care for the balance of the two worlds, collecting and using Power of Existence for their own purposes. Unfortunately for the few that respect and do not seek to upset the balance, some Flame Hazes do not distinguish between them, and thus become targets. As in the human world, some Denizens will stand out and are known as Lords ( Ō).
Lords of Crimson Realm (紅世の王 Guze no Ō)

Lords of Crimson Realm are Denizens whose power stands out among their peers, such as the Trinity of Bal Masqué, Friagne, Pheles, or the Lords that bind themselves to Flame Hazes. Most of the Lords in the series inhabit Flame Hazes and work to maintain the balance, but some are similar to the Crimson Denizens and use Power of Existence for their own purposes.
For the Lords of Crimson Realm who work to maintain the balance of the two worlds, they take care of it by monitoring the Power of Existence and utilizing their contracted Flame Haze to terminate those Crimson Denizens who harm the balance. Lords represent themselves as magical objects, in Shana's case, a pendant. They can manifest fully, but to do so requires tremendous amounts of Power of Existence. Lords that are even more powerful, such as Tenjō no Gōka (天壌の劫火) or Sairei no Hebi (祭礼の蛇) are known as Gods ( Kami) of the Crimson Realm, and each of these Gods are bestowed upon the duty of materializing the very laws of the Crimson world; for example, Alastor is known as the God of Atonement (天罰神 Tenbatsushin), while the Snake of Festival is the God of Creation (創造神 Sōzōshin), each having abilities that suit these names.
Rinne (燐子 Rinne)

Rinne are created servants for the Tomogara (Crimson Denizens). They are unstable existences and require Power of Existence from either their master, or living humans and Torches in order to survive.
Power of Unrestraint (自在法 Jizaihō)

Also known as Unrestricted Spells or Unrestricted Methods, they are powerful magic spells. These spells can be used for any purpose, from restoring the fragments of a long-lost painting to transforming normally untransferrable objects in a whole city into a big hunk of Power of Existence, however they are mostly used in battle in the series. They can be invoked by chanting (some high-class Unrestricted Methods may require centuries of work to activate), and consumes Power of Existence. An Unrestricted Spell can be seen as a blue insignia upon casting.
Treasure Tool (宝具 Hōgu)

Treasure Tool is the name of magical objects which can provide special abilities or even an Unrestricted Spell. A Treasure Tool is created when a single Denizen and a human, each representing their own world, has the same desire to one another; if worked out with the right Unrestricted Spells and physical materials, a Treasure Tool for the sole purpose of fulfilling that desire will be created. For example, Reiji Maigo, which is sought by many for its ability to replenish its owner's Power of Existence at midnight every day, was originally created by the Lord-Mystes lovers, Pheles and Johann, under their desire of "being together forever", using a single whole clock tower for the physical material part. Most Denizens, Flame Hazes, and even humans who aid them possess one or more of these, and would try to acquire as many as they can for many reasons, like getting an upper hand in critical time during battles.
Seal (封絶 Fūzetsu)

Seal is the most common of all Unrestricted Spells, and it also refers to the special dimension the spell creates; here the Crimson Realm and the real world intermingles, and all sorts of causalities, including time, is stopped for ordinary living beings. The mad scientist Lord Dantalion originally created the complex and flawed version of the Seal; later, the genius spell creator Denizen Leanan-sidhe developed it into the easier modern version, which quickly spread over all related beings in the world. Flame Hazes are able to create such Seal at will, as may Crimson Denizens. However, battles in the Seal can damage real world objects, and harm the paused living beings, though it is possible to reverse the effects, if one uses enough Power of Existence. However, if the Seal is ever unlocked during a battle, the damage is irreparable.
Crystal Altar (玻璃壇 Haridan)

Crystal Altar is a Treasure Tool that functions as a miniature projection of the real world. It can be used to observe the location of Torches and Power of Unrestraints, and other things related to Power of Existence. From Margery's story, it is told that Crystal Altar was made about three milennia ago by a God-class Crimson Lord called the Snake of the Festival (祭礼の蛇 Sairei no Hebi?), who had taken a liking to the act of "ruling". He created a human city and then watched over that city using the Crystal Altar. However, he was sealed in an alternate dimension after many battles with various Flame Haze. Friagne, who discovered and took possession of the Crystal Altar then brought it with him to Misaki city. While one may be deceived that it looks like the city's replica, the Altar itself is actually shaped like a small bronze mirror, hidden inside Friagne's enormous pile of Treasure Tools.
The Crystal Altar was originally intended to be used with the Gehinnom, an enormous stone bowl found inside the Bal-Masque's headquarters filled with iron grain which moves to make quick, accurate replicas of the desired area nearby; but as the Altar is missing, it is normally seen containing the three weapons of the Trinity, who are none other than the closest subjects of the Snake of the Festival.
Outlaw (外界宿(アウトロー) Autorō)

The facilities or organizations that support the activities of Flame Haze with finance, information, transportations, etc. They were merely hotels each with Treasures called Tessera, the regular dodecahedronal objects that conceal the presence of Flame Haze. Then a half-retired Flame Haze became the keeper to one of the Outlaw and made improvements, turning it into a place to trade information. The plan turned out successful after many years later as many other Outlaws had followed and thus the networks and connections were established throughout the world.
Well then minna san Shidiq think's that's it for now on, thank you for reading, jya ne, matta ashita~

From: bulbapedia , The Tanooki

1. Gradevoir

070415gardevoir.jpgA third generation Pokémon whose first evolution, Ralts, is native to grasses near the beginning of your adventure in Hoenn, Gardevoir is the final evolution of its particular Pokémon family. Its stats rival some of the best non-legendary, third evolution psychic Pokémon, though it is generally more balanced out than being lopsided in categories like special attack and special defense. Visually, Gardevoir resembles the figure of an elegant woman, despite the fact that Gardevoir’s male to female ratio is just about even. As a psychic Pokémon, Gardevoir stands out as having a brain developed far beyond the level of a humans, enabling Gardevoir to see into the future. Gardevoir also exhibit an unmistakable level of unselfishness and concern for others. If, using its precognitive abilities, the “Embrace Pokémon” senses any sort of threat to either its trainer or to its offspring, it will use its powerful psychokinetic abilities to their full force in an effort to protect its trainer or offspring. Gardevoir are willing to sacrifice their life for their trainers and offspring without hesitation. For this reason, as well as Gardevoir’s apparent ability to completely comprehend the human language, many trainers develop a strong bond with their Gardevoir.

Why did we pick it?

Like many of the Pokémon higher up on our Top 10 list, Gardevoir exhibits an amazing level of beauty and elegance. Add to that the facts that Gardevoir possesses powerful, mystic, psychic abilities and that Gardevoir not only resembles a human being visibly but also compassionately, and you have a Pokémon unlike any other. While Ralts may seem like just your ordinary Lv. 2 field Pokémon, trainers who have evolved a Gardevoir will appreciate its unparalleled abilities.

2. Meloetta

Melo-who? Known as the Melody Pokémon, little Meloetta is Pokémon #648 and is located in the National PokéDex well beyond the range of even the Unova Dex. It is this generation’s Shaymin, and can change between two formes — the Aria Forme and the Pirouette Forme — simply by using Ancient Song. Like Jigglypuff, Meloetta’s song has effects on those within earshot. Unlike Jigglypuff, those effects involve a mystical control over the listener’s feelings. Meloetta has been known to inspire people through its songs, and has been attributed to the creation of several famous musical and artistic works in the Pokémon world. When Meloetta assumes its Aria Forme, it possesses a Normal/Psychic typing. In this forme, its vocals are unrivaled as it sings beautiful and moving melodies. Upon using its Ancient Song move, Meloetta takes its Pirouette Forme (of Normal/Fighting typing) in which it can perform elegantly beautiful dance routines. No matter what Meloetta is doing, it remains immune to Ghost attacks.

Why did we pick it?

Based on the mythological Muses, Meloetta is the poster-Pokémon for the Fine Arts. You can just envision Meloetta performing in the lead role in The Darkrai of the Opera as a Chandelure (#609) comes crashing down, can’t you? Unlike its closest regionally-orphaned predecessor, Shaymin, Meloetta is completely unobtainable in Pokémon Black and White — she’s our “Christine,” if you will. I’m sure eventually we’ll get a movie with Meloetta in it, and an event download to go along… but until then, Meloetta is just a voice that’s calling out to us.
The best part? She can more than hold her own in battle! While her Aria Forme comes with not-too-shabby special attack and special defense, Meloetta becomes a little Femme Fatale in her Pirouette Forme. Boasting the game’s only Normal/Fighting typing, Meloetta will gracefully strike at her opponents with deadly speed and attack base stats of 128 each. Close Combat with that kind of power, plus STAB? Run.

3. Liligant

549Lilligant.pngLilligant dons a red flower with white spotted petals upon its head; said flower has golden filament with red anther, resembling a crown. She possesses dark green, linear leaves under the flower, and light green, linear leaves underneath the darker leaves. One of the light green leaves, on the back of its head, is about as long as her body. Two light green leaves loosely hang down from her head. Her head and abdomen are white and her eyes are a light shade of red. She has dark green, linear leaves for arms, and a golden sepal under her neck. She wears a large, light green, tulip shaped collection of leaves, resembling a dress. There are two long, dark green, linear leaves coming from her back to around the bottom of her "dress". She also possesses another golden, sepal-shaped extension underneath her "dress", resembling feet. Lilligant is a female-only species with no male counterpart. Lilligant is a rare Pokémon that lives in the forests of Unova, especially in the Pinwheel Forest. Though Lilligant's flower is similar in appearance to the rafflesia, its relaxing smell makes it more likely to be based on either an orange, pomelo, mandarin orange, or carnation's flowers, all of which are used in essential oils for aromatherapy. Because of this, the leaves of its body may also have been based on other essential oil ingredients, such as spearmint and/or peppermint.

Why did we pick it?

First, it is because it has a form looks like a dancer and very suitable for contest. It could  be based on a dancer, since it learns only moves with the word Dance in them via level up, excluding moves it knows from the start. Its crown and regal attire may be a reference to high class or royal women's fashion in the late 1700's. The Flower-like Crown on its head, which emits a sweet smelling aroma. Its believed to have a relaxing effect when exposed to the scent. Lilligant is popular with Pokémon Breeders and Celebrities alike. But it is very difficult to coax this Pokémon's flower to bloom. Once it does, if the Lilligant is neglected, the flower will wilt.

4. Milotic
350Milotic.png Milotic's appearance is similar to that of a sea serpent, and it is likely based on an Oarfish. Milotic’s sinuous body is mostly cream in coloration, with red eyes and three black dots down its neck. The top of its head is long, with a point at the end, and long, thin red ‘eyebrows’ extending from above its eyes and thicker, also red-colored hair-like fins draping from the sides of the head. Its lower tail is covered with blue and pink scales, with striations of black, and four large scales, blue with red spots in the middle, overlap at the tip of the tail to look like a fan. Milotic is described in the Pokédex as breathtakingly beautiful. Milotic first appeared under the ownership of Robert in Win, Lose or Drew!. Robert used Milotic again for the Grand Festival. Juan's Milotic was first seen in The Great Eight Fate!. Juan used it against Ash for the Gym Battle in the following episode, being his strongest and last Pokémon. Battle Pike Queen Lucy used a Milotic to battle against Ash's Donphan and Pikachu in Queen of the Serpentine. Lucy's Milotic defeated the former of the two and lost to the latter. A Milotic appeared in Our Cup Runneth Over! under Wallace's ownership as his main Contest Pokémon. Milotic have the ability to calm their enemies by removing their negative feelings, this suggests that they possess empathetic abilities similar to some species of Psychic-type Pokémon. Milotic can move by floating in the air as shown in the anime.

Why did we pick it?

Well as we can see in here, Milotic is sooooo beautiful! It evolves from Feebas by level-up when Feebas's Beauty condition is high or when traded holding a Prism Scale. We know that Feebas is an ugly pokemon, but then it grow become a beautifull pokemon. Beside that, Milotic is a peaceful Pokémon that typically tries to avoid battles. It appears to dislike conflict, and will even appear before arguing humans in an attempt to calm their minds. It is a historically significant Pokémon, and has been depicted in many works of art.

5. Dragonair
148Dragonair.png
Dragonair are long, serpentine Pokémon that can be up to 13 feet long. They have dark, glossy eyes and a small, unicorn-like horn on their foreheads. On either side of their heads are small feathery wings. Dragonair are covered in sapphire-blue scales, except for their bellies, which are a bright white. A feature unique to Dragonair are the small blue orbs that appear under their necks and on the ends of their tails. They somewhat resemble larger versions of their pre-evolutionary forms. Dragonair are said to have the ability to control the weather and surrounding climate; they also give out a distinct, gentle aura that can be felt by humans. As seen in Pikachu's Rescue Adventure, Dragonair seem to be able to make their wings grow to large sizes to be able to fly, causing many people to have seen these Pokémon flying. Dragonair also host a large amount of energy within their bodies which they discharge from their crystals, allowing them to change the weather. Dragonair's orb can be used as a source of light. Dragonair are rare Pokémon that often inhabit lakes and seas. The best places to look for one might be Kanto Safari Zone, Dragon's Den, and Mt. Coronet. Dragonair first appeared in the banned episode, EP035, as a Dratini the warden of the Safari Zone was protecting. Over the 30 years since Kaiser last saw the elusive Dragon-type, it evolved into Dragonair. It also had a child Dratini. Clair's Dratini evolved into a Dragonair in Beauty is Skin Deep. In On Olden Pond, a Dragonair was living in a lake that Mr. Saridakis once planned to build a luxury resort on.

Why did we Pick it?
Dragonair are docile Pokémon that give out a gentle aura that can be felt by people nearby. Although shy and protective of their habitat, they are also very powerful dragon Pokémon. Dragonair have the ability to shed their skin, ridding their bodies of unwanted ailments. Beside that, Dragonair is so cute and beautiful. It has a beauty ability in contest because it posses water ability.

6. Lopunny
90‎pxLopunny are bipedal Pokémon that are based on real-life rabbits. They stand at approximately three to four feet tall, with a dark brown pelt, long, warm ears and round tails. They also have a fluffy, cream pelt that is found on the ends of their ears, legs and arms, as well as distinctive large 'eyebrows'. Lopunny have black pupils with red irises, with small pink noses and inner ears. Despite Lopunny's feminine appearance, they have a 1:1 gender ratio. Lopunny have been found with the abilities Cute Charm, Klutz and its Hidden Ability, Limber. Cute Charm infatuates foes on contact if they are of the opposite gender to Lopunny. Klutz renders Lopunny unable to use held items in battle, which usually places it at a disadvantage. Limber prevents Lopunny to be paralyzed in battle. Lopunny is also the only Pokémon to learn the move Return by leveling up; this is likely related to the fact that it evolves by happiness. It also learns a few Psychic-type moves such as Mirror Coat and Healing Wish by leveling up. Being Normal-type Pokémon, Lopunny are able to learn a variety of TM moves across many different types, enabling a flexible moveset. They seem to prefer forests and grasslands. While it may be considered a herbivore, it is unknown for certain. However, they are occasionally found with the Chople Berry. Lopunny made its debut appearance in Arriving in Style! belonging to a Pokémon stylist named Paris. A Lopunny appeared in Meowth's fantasy in Noodles: Roamin' Off. Nando's Lopunny made its first appearance in Coming Full Festival Circle!.

Why did we pick it ?

These Pokémon are normally very cautious and timid. It cloaks its body with its fluffy ear fur when it senses danger, and, being very conscious of its looks, never fails to groom its ears. It runs with sprightly jumps and sheds its fur twice a year, the reason why its winter fur is soft and fluffy. It is often found in small huddles with other Lopunny and sometimes squabbling over trivial things. Its young, Buneary, often decides to run and hide in its mother's fur. Beside that, it has a beautiful appearance and has an ability called charm. In other words, this pokemon is very suitable for contest.

7. Togekiss
Togekiss is known as the Jubilee Pokémon. Wild Togekiss tend to visit and reside in areas where people and Pokémon are living in peace and harmony. They bring blessings and gifts of kindness to those regions, while staying away from areas full of conflict and strife.

In the anime, a Togekiss was raised by Princess Salvia, Dawn’s royal doppelgänger, to be proper and elegant. Upon competing in the Arrowroot Contest with Salvia, Togekiss realized its love for contests. Seeing this, Salvia entrusted Togekiss to Dawn and allowed it to travel with her and eventually compete in the Sinnoh Grand Festival. Togekiss made its currently last appearance on the show when it helped Dawn to locate her Piplup, who had run away crying when it realized that Ash, Brock, and Pikachu would be leaving them to return to Kanto. Togekiss landed in front of Piplup and comforted him in its wings.

Why did we pick it?

*wipes forehead* Well this should be an easy one. Just take all of the reasons that Togepi made our list yesterday, multiply them by two evolutions, add in the ability to fly, and anyone can see why Togekiss deserves to be on this list. Not only that, but Togekiss is a Poke-Santa of sorts, bringing gifts of kindness and sweet blessing to areas of peace. I’m not kidding. “Don’t fight with you sister! Otherwise Togekiss won’t come down and snuggle you to sleep tonight!” is a common phrase in households across the land. Did you think that “kiss” in the name was just a coincidence? Well think again, it’s a potential reward to all the do-gooders out there letting their friends Magikarp slowly splash their Geodude to death for the sake of getting that little tyke some experience (I’m aware splash doesn’t do any damage, but for the sake of the comparison, bare with me). If this cake wasn’t quite tasty enough for you, Togekiss isn’t all fluff and friendship. He also come equiped with a dangerous duo of astronomical special attack and special defense. That is called icing, people. Delicious, fluffy, beat-you-down-if-you-aren’t-careful, icing.

8. Chansey

070415chansey.jpgThe Egg Pokémon, Chansey, is rare and is said to bring happiness to anyone who catches one. Chansey lay “nutritionally excellent” eggs several times a day, which happen to be so delicious that anyone will quickly devour one, regardless of their appetite. In the anime series, Chansey are often seen assisting in hospitals, serving as assistants to the lovely Nurse Joy. In the games, Chansey started out as having no evolved form. Since then, it has been discovered to evolve into Blissey when its happiness is at its greatest, and the new Diamond & Pearl games reveal Chansey’s baby pre-evolution, Happiny.
Why did we pick it?

Chansey was an oddball Pokémon in the original lot of 150, and still stands out today. Maybe it’s the hardiness that comes with consistently happy mood, but Chansey had by far the highest max HP in the original games. Of course, to “balance” things out, all of Chansey’s other stats were crap, so she best served to take the worst of the damage and force opponents to use up their attack PP in battle, before being switched out to allow a teammate to finish off the opposing Pokémon.

9. Espeon
070419espeon.jpgWe weren’t going to finish this list without at least one form of Eevee. There’s six forms (Eevee and five evolutions), so there were pretty good chances one would make our list. Espeon is the psychic evolution of Eevee, evident in its many special abilities. Espeon’s sensitive hair and nerves help it to predict changes in the environment, such as an opponent Pokémon’s next move or a change in weather conditions. In addition, its precognitive abilities allow Espeon to sense dangerous threats to itself or its trainer, and it will act accordingly to protect itself and/or defend its trainer.
Espeon is obtained by raising an Eevee’s happiness to its maximum and then evolving Eevee during the daytime hours. This was easily done in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal due to the day and night feature. In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, the lack of a day/night feature forced players to watch clocks to make sure they were evolving Eevee at the correct times to obtain an Espeon. Otherwise, Eevee would evolve into Umbreon. In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the day and night mechanism will be returning, allowing trainers the ease of simply evolving a happy Eevee when the screen is bright.

Why did we pick it?

It’s hard not to like at least one Eevee evolution. There are five existing ones, with two more on the way starting Sunday. Pretty soon there will be an Eevee evolution for every possible favorite type. That said, Christian has a very strong affinity for psychic Pokémon, one of which Espeon happens to be. Espeon’s short hair also gives it a much sleeker look compared to Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, and Glaceon, and slightly more so than when compared to Umbreon.
While Espeon doesn’t hold up too well against Pokémon with more physical attacks, it can hold its own against special attacks and can dish out even more in terms of its own special attacks. Of all the Eevee evolutions, including the two upcoming ones, Espeon has by far the highest special attack base stat. This comes in handy once Espeon learns Psychic and/or Dream Eater (tutor), as these moves will help to end battles more quickly, reducing the need for Espeon to depend on its weak defenses.

10. Jigglypuff

070417jigglypuff.jpgAside from being completely kick ass (in a fun, taunting way) in the Super Smash Bros. games, the “Balloon Pokémon” very generously gives free concerts to all those around. Unfortunately, it’s the kind of music that makes everyone want to fall asleep. Jigglypuff are able to manipulate their vocal chords to sing at a frequency that resonates with the natural frequency of deep sleep brain waves. Jigglypuff will continue to sing until it realizes that everyone around has fallen asleep to its song. Angered at the apparent disrespect, Jigglypuff may occasionally turn its microphone into a black marker and draw all over the faces of those who fell asleep. In battle, Jigglypuff’s ability to put foes to sleep allows a trainer to take advantage and continue attacking the opponent without the risk of being attacked in retaliation.
Why did we pick it?

The adorable smile and sweet voice of Jigglypuff reels in Pokemon lovers everywhere, but be careful! Staring into the huge, saucer-shaped eyes of Jigglypuff is like drifting asleep in a field of poppies. Though she is lovable, her hypnotic trance and soothing song can put even the strongest of Pokemon in a deep slumber, rendering them helpless. Also, Jigglypuff has proved to be one tough cookie in the Super Smash Bros. Melee ring—I have won many-a battle using her charged spin mode alone!

Well minna san, i think that's all about it, thank's for reading, and jya matta!
